You may wonder why we are using the barn owl on the web site.

I was looking for a distinctive web site name for personal use, and everything concerning the name Craven seemed to be well covered. We live in Barn Owl Way in Stoke Gifford. The crest of Stoke Gifford is a Barn Owl. The following link takes you to the parish council web sitestokegifford.org.uk

Our personal web site is barnowlway.net although there is not much on it yet.

I did consider including a "pussy cat". We all know that the "owl and the pussy cat went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat". You possibly know that the detective series Wycliffe is filmed in Cornwall. You probably did not know that much of the episode called "The Pea Green Boat" was shot in the dunes by the chalet site and in the sea nearby.
